Jul 12, 2015 Just wondering if anyone had the same trouble I did. I have two brothers laser printers. The last one I purchased is a HL-22270DW. I called Brothers support and was told it was not a brother problem it was a Microsoft problem when the printer would not print duplex. I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 that is less than a year old. It used to print two-sided, and still does from Excel, but I cannot get it to print two sided from any other program (Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Google Chrome).
Without an ETA, I have no choice but to switch my default browser and very well may not come back to Chrome because I am so annoyed at Google. And tell those at Google who think that this default setting is somehow SAVING paper that they are sorely mistaken.
