I suspect that your computer is trying to start up from your MyBook drive. To change that, you will need to go into your computer’s BIOS and set it so that it doesn’t boot from your external USB device. Once you’ve made that change, your computer will stop trying to startup from your MyBook hard drive. Unfortunately you will need to do a little research on how to do that exactly for your particular computer as the procedure is different for each computer.
